Can enteric coated, sustained and slow release medications be used in the myLiquitab Homecare Unit? 2020-04-18T14:56:43+10:00

Even though the myLiquitab System does not crush medications we recommend that enteric coated, slow and sustained release tablets that cannot be crushed are not used with the myLiquitab System.

There are alternate medications available and we recommend that a doctor or pharmacist is consulted regarding which of these may be used with the myLiquitab System.

When myLiquitab developed the flavouring for the myLiquitab System we collaborated with a large pharmaceutical company to ensure the right outcomes.

The myLiquitab flavouring agent had no observed effect on drug disintegration and was not considered likely to have any effect on dosing.*
